History and FIFA World Cup

1990 FIFA world Cup was 14th FIFA world cup, held in Italy from 8 June to 8 July. West Germany won the matches by defending Argentina by 1-0.
1994 FIFA World Cup was held in nine cities across united states. United state was chosen as a host by FIFA on 4 July 1988. Brazil won the game and become first nation win four World Cup titles when they bet Italy 3-2 in a penalty shootout.
1998 FIFA World Cup was held in France from 10 June to 12 July. Tournament was won by France beating Brazil by 3-0.
2002 FIFA World Cup was held in South Korea and Japan from 31 may to 30 June. It was a first World Cup held in Asia. Brazil won the tournament beating German by 2-0.


2006 FIFA World Cup was held From 9 June to 9 July 2006 in Germany. Italy won the final claiming fourth world cup title by defeated France 5-2 in penalty shootout.


2010 FIFA World Cup was held in South Africa from June 11 to July 11. Spain won the tournament defeating Netherlands by 1-0 in extra time.

                             

2014 FIFA World Cup is going to began from Thursday, June 12 to Sunday 13, 2012 in Brazil.
